Cookie Policy

EscrowCryp.to

Last updated: 2026-05-24

1. What this Policy covers

This Cookie Policy explains how EscrowCryp.to (the "Service", operated by A Nevis Company LLC, the "Operator", "we") uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit escrowcryp.to. Read this together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

2. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device. They allow the website to recognize your device on subsequent visits, remember preferences, keep you logged in, and operate basic features. "Similar technologies" includes local storage, session storage, IndexedDB, web beacons, and pixels.

3. Categories of cookies we use

3.1 Strictly necessary (always on)

These cookies are required for the Service to function. They cannot be switched off. They are usually only set in response to actions you take, such as logging in or filling out forms.

Name Purpose Duration
__Host-session Maintains your logged-in session via JWT 30 days
__Host-csrf CSRF protection token Session
cookie-consent Records your cookie preferences 1 year
theme Light/dark theme preference 1 year
tronlink-wallet-state Local storage; remembers your last connected wallet Until you clear

3.2 Functional (optional)

These cookies enhance functionality. They are only set if you opt in via the cookie banner.

Name Purpose Duration
lang Remembers your language selection 1 year
deal-draft Local storage; preserves a half-completed Deal creation form 7 days

3.3 Analytics (optional)

We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool such as Plausible Analytics, which does not use cookies by default. If we ever add cookie-based analytics, it will be listed here and gated behind your opt-in.

Name Purpose Duration
(none currently) — —

3.4 Marketing and advertising

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies. We do not run ads. We do not share data with ad networks. We do not retarget you across the web.

3.5 Third-party cookies

When you interact with embedded third-party content (for example, if you connect a wallet via TronLink or a wallet provider's own widget), that third party may set its own cookies in your browser. We do not control those cookies. Read each third party's own cookie or privacy policy.

4. Your choices

4.1 Cookie banner

On your first visit you see a cookie banner with two clear options: Accept all or Reject optional. Strictly necessary cookies are always set regardless. Your choice is recorded in the cookie-consent cookie for 12 months, after which you will see the banner again.

You can change your choice at any time at escrowcryp.to/legal/cookies/preferences.

4.2 Browser controls

You can also control cookies through your browser. Most browsers let you:

  • See what cookies are set and delete them individually
  • Block all cookies from one or more sites
  • Block all third-party cookies
  • Delete cookies when you close the browser
  • Run in incognito/private mode

Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break the Service — you will not be able to log in, create Deals, or use most features.

4.3 Wallet extensions

Wallet extensions like TronLink interact with the Service via browser APIs and may store their own data in your browser's local storage. Manage these via the wallet's own settings.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. There is no industry consensus on what websites should do in response to that signal. We currently do not change our behavior based on it.

6. Changes to this Policy

We may amend this Cookie Policy from time to time. The current version is always at escrowcryp.to/legal/cookies with a "Last updated" date.
